Kiksasa was recently honored to receive an invitation from the National Disability Institute to share a table at the America's SBDC Conference '24 in Atlanta.

The NDI not only works with entrepreneurs with disabilities, but also works with the U.S. Small Business Administration to help ALL entrepreneurs learn how to build businesses and applications that are friendly for everyone. Kiksasa was designed from the ground-up to enable the neurodiverse and promote accessibility. We're also excited to be able to demo a very cool device from Kinemo, Inc. - a Georgia Institute of Technology company and Kiksasa member. The Kinemo Connect device let us demonstrate the Kiksasa hub with nothing more than head and shoulder motions - a practical example combining the power of accessibility devices with innovative software.
Accessibility is personal for our CEO and founder, Kelly Flynn.

I can't understate how proud I am that the National Disability Institute invited Kiksasa to be their case study for how hashtag#SAAS apps can be developed for accessibility. It's a big deal as a founder to receive such a recognition, but it's a bigger deal when its for addressing a problem that impacts you so personally.
In 2021, I was in a massive car accident, that resulted a week in the hospital and 10 broken bones, a fractured kidney, and a nasty concussion. Not fun at all. However, as my grandfather said, there is always a silver lining - sometimes you just have to squint to see it.
